BOROUGH ORDINANCES
What is an Ordinance?
An ordinance is a Borough law designed to protect the rights, safety and comfort of Borough residents.
This comprises the codification of the Ordinances of the Borough of Adamstown. The Borough of Adamstown was originally settled in 1761 and was incorporated as a Borough on April 2, 1859, from parts of East Cocalico Township.
The Code of Ordinances of the Borough was prepared by Penns Valley Publishers and adopted by the Borough Council on October 2, 1990, by Ordinance Number 244.
